Ms. Hamlin has a wide range of experience in meeting support, event coordination, communications, and marketing. She has coordinated meetings and events for both the public and private sectors. She has created and maintained multiple Web sites and participated in several marketing campaigns.
As Director of Special Projects at PAI, Ms. Hamlin develops customized marketing strategies through research and analysis. She is responsible for new business outreach and cultivating relationships for current and potential alliances. Ms. Hamlin works closely with the PAI Marketing Committee and leadership team to identify new markets for existing services and to evaluate growth opportunities. She also assists with marketing presentations and contract proposals.
Ms. Hamlin recently supported the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of the Secretary, with its international forum on Working Together to Improve the Air Travel of Passengers with Disabilities, held in France, Egypt, China and the United States. This support included making general meeting and audiovisual arrangements, preparing handouts and meeting materials, and providing on-site logistical support. She was also responsible for daily communication with disability organizations, government entities and air carriers, distributing documents, and drafting a record of meeting.
Ms. Hamlin supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) by preparing materials for the Rulemaking Management Council and Steering Committee meetings. In addition, she drafts records of meeting for the FAA’s Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee Executive Committee. She has also supported the Commercial Aviation Safety Team/International Civil Aviation Organization Common Taxonomy Team (CICTT) with coordinating meeting logistics, preparing meeting materials, and drafting records for the main body CICTT and working group meetings.
Ms. Hamlin supported the National Task Force to Develop Model Contingency Plans to Address Lengthy Airline On-Board Ground Delays. She was responsible for coordinating meeting logistics, on-site support, and drafting official records of meetings.
Ms. Hamlin has assisted in handling comments on notices of proposed rulemaking (NPRM). She most recently assisted with an NPRM on special airspace rules for the Washington, DC, area. This task involved reviewing and categorizing a growing collection of comments submitted by concerned persons, totaling in excess of 20,000. Ms. Hamlin also assisted in handling comments on an NPRM regarding Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast.
Ms. Hamlin edits, formats, and produces documents for the Government and industry, including records of meeting, reports, manuals, letters, and minimum equipment lists (MEL) for Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 91 operators.
