Regulatory Analysis, Development, and Evaluation
The expert analysts at PAI have long provided support to the Federal Government in the analysis and development Federal regulations. PAI has been and continues to be involved directly in the development of all types of regulatory actions and supports all steps in the rulemaking process, including regulatory and technical research, analysis of impacts and options (legal and technical), support of hearings/meetings, analysis of public comments, supporting documentation preparation (issue papers and draft regulatory documents), Government coordination processes (interagency and with the Office of Management and Budget), and Federal Register publication. PAI has experience drafting regulations in traditional and plain language, as well as question-and-answer formats.
Summary and Analysis of Comments
PAI has extensive experience in summarizing and analyzing comments. We have developed and completed numerous comment summary databases using our established and tested processes to assist the Federal Government in organizing and evaluating comments it receives from industry and the general public for rulemakings and other supporting material. PAI then provides a full evaluation of these comments and can assist the Government in formulating its responses.
Meeting and Event Planning and Facilitation
The logistics of planning and supporting any size of meeting can be a daunting task. PAI has the knowledge and experience of providing complete planning services and meeting support for public and private hearings and meetings to make any event run smoothly—from small executive committee meetings to large scale public hearings or association events.
